Fluffy meatballs with mutton and ground beef

Today we will make fluffy, delicious, fragrant meatballs. The minced meat will be half-half.

  • 500g mutton minced meat
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 2 -3 sc melted garlic
  • 2 large onions grated
  • Or chopped parsley
  • 3 slices of stale bread (crumb only) soaked in water (or you can add wine or ouzo to the water)
  • 2k fresh chopped mint
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 k oregano
  • Salt Pepper
  • Flour for breading
  • Ouzo in the creation-optional-

  1. In a bowl, mix all our ingredients. It is important that our mixture has liquids so that the meatballs become fluffy. Once the ingredients are homogenized, we close our mixture with a film and leave it in the fridge for an appetizer to remove the aromas and spices.
  2. Then we wet our palm with a little ouzo and start to shape our meatballs.
  3. Flour them, shake them to remove as much flour as possible and fry them in olive oil (the oil should cover about half of the meatballs). Fry them on both sides and leave them on absorbent paper.
