  • Or a loaf of stale bread
  • 400 gr milk
  • 4 large eggs

  1. In a bowl add the milk, eggs, salt and pepper, and beat until the ingredients are homogenous.
  2. Cut the bread into slices of about 2 cm and place it in a pan. Pour the milk mixture on top and let the milk soak for 2-3 minutes. Then turn the bread on the other side.
  3. Put a little seed oil with the butter in a pan, and start baking 2-3 slices at a time in the pan. We turn them over and take them out when they have taken on a light color. Transfer it to absorbent paper. Serve with ham-cheese or plain!
