Egg slices


Easy and fast egg slices for our breakfast. Generations and generations have grown up with this breakfast, with cinnamon and sugar on top, drizzled with honey, hot hot…

Can you think of anything better for a sweet start to the day ??


  • Or a loaf of stale bread cut into slices
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 vanilla
  • 400 gr milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  •  Seed oil for frying
  • Honey for topping
  • Cinnamon, brown sugar
  • Seasonal fruits - nuts-


  1. In a bowl add the milk, eggs, vanilla and beat until the ingredients are homogenous.
  2. Cut the bread into slices of about 2 cm and place it in a pan. Pour the milk mixture on top and let the milk soak for 2-3 minutes. Then turn the bread on the other side.
  3. Put a little seed oil with the butter in a pan, and start baking 2-3 slices at a time in the pan. We turn them over and take them out when they have taken on a light color. Transfer it to absorbent paper. Serve hot with honey, sugar nuts or fruit.
