Sweet pumpkin


Wonderful sweet pumpkin, now that we have it in abundance, let's make it for our sweets, for our yogurt, for our ice creams for the liguria… .e αυτό this sweet goes everywhere !!!


  • 500 g pumpkin cleaned and cut into cubes
  • 250 g crystallized sugar
  • 250 g of honey
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 5-6 cloves (cloves)
  • 1 kg sour
  • Juice of a juicy lemon + a spoon


  1. In a bowl we put our pumpkin cubes with water and juice of a lemon, and the sour one and leave it for about 6 hours.
  2. Drain the water and in a saucepan place the pumpkin with the cloves and the cinnamon, the sugar and the honey. Stir very gently so that our cubes do not dissolve. When it starts to boil, remove the foams. Let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes. 
  3. When the time has passed, remove the pot from the heat, leave it to cool and cover it with a clean towel. We leave overnight.
  4. The next day we bring a boil to bind the syrup, and we put it as it is hot in sterile jars. Close them and turn them upside down until they cool
