Chicken soup with trachana

An eminently traditional recipe that smells like Greece !!! It is the best for the winter, for the big ones, but also for the small ones!

Ingredients

  • 1 large chicken
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 cup trachana sweet
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • Salt Pepper

Implementation

  1. Put the chicken in a saucepan to boil, skim the water where you create foam
  2. Lower the heat and simmer until the chicken is soft.
  3. Saute the chopped onion in a saucepan with a little butter. Add the chicken broth with the trachana, salt and the chicken after we have removed the bones.
  4. Serve it with a slice and freshly ground pepper.
