Donuts (DONUTS)


The children wanted donuts today… and Stella does not spoil a lot !!!! Wonderful donuts for our children and for all those we love.

Homemade donuts that you can put whatever filling you want, chocolate, jam, merenda, custard cream or pastry cream. etc. And the instructions to make them and enjoy them like us. Decorate them with icing or with sugar, truffle, or colorful candies, and why not a dessert, honey, etc.


  • 200 g hot milk
  • 8 g yeast
  • 60 g sugar
  • 500 g flour
  • 7 g salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 vanilla
  • 50 g butter
  • Seed oil for frying.


  1. In a bowl, pour the hot milk (not hot, do not burn the yeast), our sugar and the yeast. Mix well and let the yeast activate. (About a quarter)
  2. Then I add the sifted flour, the salt and the 2 eggs, the vanilla, and the butter slowly, and knead for a long time until my dough becomes fluffy and elastic. We put our dough in a bowl (we have smeared it with oil all around so that it does not stick to us) and we put it to rise, covering it with a film.
  3. When it swells we take our dough and on a floured surface we take the rolling pin and we open it to a thickness of about 1 cm and we cut them with a cutter or the cornice from a wide glass. Make the hole from the inside if you want (with a glass cup) or leave them without a hole to fill them. Put them on a tray and let them swell, covered with a film.
  4. When they swell and double, fry them at 170The from both sides.
  5. Then we place them on a grill and decorate or fill them according to our desire.

Castard crim

 Basic mixture of vanilla sugar eggs for the preparation of other creams such as cream angles or pastries, for filling in cakes, tarts, millefeuille and other sweets.

Our materials.

  • 6 egg yolks
  • 100 g sugar
  • 50 g flour
  • 1 vanilla or 1 kg liquid vanilla
  • Or liter of milk

In a bowl, beat the yolks with the sugar, until they are homogenous. Then we put the flour (always passed through the sieve) and mix very well. At the same time in a milk jug we have put the milk and the vanilla on the fire. Just before it boils (at the stage when the milk starts to bubble at the edges) I slowly add the string to the egg mixture and stir constantly very quickly.

Once it is homogenized, I let it cool, stirring it, and then I put it in the fridge with a film on it so that it does not catch skin.

White icing

To pour over our donuts, or to decorate cookies, buns, cakes, king pie etc

  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar.

We make our mixture in a bowl and we make its fluidity as much as we can spread it where we want and it stands.

We can also use a few drops of pastry color for a more impressive result in what we make.

Cocoa icing

To decorate our sweets, cakes, royal pies, buns, cookies, etc.


  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 1 cup powder
  • 1 cup milk.

We make our mixture in a bowl and we make its fluidity as much as we can spread it where we want and it stands.

Do not omit the icing because your icing will turn out bitter.
