Mashed potatoes


A wonderful side dish that adults and children love and an easy solution for a more refined meal. Easy, fast, very tasty with endless combinations.


  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 80 g butter
  • 150-200 g of fresh lukewarm milk
  • Salt Pepper
  • Nutmeg optional


  1. We take the potatoes and wash them carefully outside. Boil our potatoes in a saucepan with water and a little salt. We pinch them with a toothpick to check if they have boiled. We do not boil them cleaned or cut because they absorb a lot of water and so our puree will become weak in taste.
  2. Then, once they have softened, remove them from the heat and clean them while they are still hot.
  3. Mash them and slowly, stirring, add the butter and lukewarm milk, salt and pepper. If you want, add nutmeg.

If we want to accompany our fish puree we can replace the butter with olive oil.

We can also give a spicy taste with a smoked grated or spicy cheese and add a little paprika to accompany meat.
