Simple economical aromatic lemon cookies, with ingredients that we definitely have in our house, for our fasting days. Without eggs, butter, and milk, we make cookies for our children for our coffee… for the liguria !!!
- 180 g sugar
- 260 g of water
- 3 tablespoons lemon
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4-5 cloves
- 220 g sugar
- 200 g of sunflower oil
- 2 cups baking powder
- Grate 2 lemons
- 850 g flour (Approx.)
- We start with part A. Put our ingredients in a saucepan and let them simmer for 5-7 minutes. Once the time has passed, take it out of the fire and leave it aside.
- In a mixer, beat the sunflower oil with the sugar until it melts well. Then add the bacon, zest and syrup (Part A). Mix well and start adding our flour which we have sifted before.
- Once a pliable dough is made, we start cutting our cookies. We want them small and thin. Spread in a pan on greaseproof paper. Mine are about 10g each. You can make them even smaller. We look to be thin in volume.
- Bake them at 180The in the air for about 10 minutes (depending on the designs and size of your cookies)
