Apple sauce is a velvety puree made from apples and spices. Although our country produces wonderful apples, it is not very widespread.
We can make it in jars and keep it for a long time.
Depending on what will accompany it, we direct its taste and the spices and herbs that we will put inside.
Combines beautifully with pork (such as brisket steaks, pork leg, etc.), with chicken, but also in a sweet version with aromatic spices (cinnamon, cloves, allspice, ginger, etc.) to accompany pancakes, cakes, strudels, etc.
It also goes well with dried fruits such as figs, plums, etc., but also with herbs such as sage, thyme, etc.
Apple sauce is a base to direct according to your taste and imagination. Add different varieties of apples for a tastier result.
