Spaghetti putaneska

What can I say about this spaghetti? I have heard many stories since it got its name. One version was that prostitutes made it at breaks quickly to regain their strength, elsewhere I have heard that it was made by some women who, after the men left for work, also left home, and shortly before the men came, they left. and they made this pasta because it was quick and easy. Elsewhere I have heard that it was made by a restaurant late at night since there was no tpt left in the kitchen from ingredients, and finally the most prevalent is the version made by prostitutes for their customers since this sauce contains garlic and anchovies as an aphrodisiac to have powers. Whichever version is valid, it is a wonderful pasta with intense flavors, light, and very tasty.

  • A packet of boiled spaghetti
  • 8 anchovy fillets
  • 3 tablespoons chopped garlic
  • 1 ½ κ σ capers washed finely chopped
  • Or chopped parsley
  • 1 kg boukovo
  • 2-3 chopped basil leaves
  • 100 g of parmesan
  • 500 g tomatoes grated on a coarse grater
  • 80 g chopped olives fillets (leave some whole)
  • Olive oil
  • pepper

For serving

  • Basil leaves
  • Parmesan (optional)
  • Freshly chopped pepper
  • Olive oil

  1. Add olive oil to a pan. Once warm, add the garlic and the boukovo. Then lower the heat and add the anchovies.
  2. Leave them for 3-4 minutes until they melt, add the tomatoes, olives and capers and mix. Let it simmer until a lot of liquid is removed from the tomato.
  3. Then add the spaghetti, chopped basil, and leave our parmesan for a minute, stirring.
  4. Serve hot with olive oil, grated pepper, basil leaves and parmesan.

-we pay attention to the taste of the sauce. Because all ingredients are salty, we do not need salt.

-If you do not like the intense taste of garlic, reduce the garlic.

-It is good to rinse the anchovies, capers and olive fillet before.
