Trachanas with cabbage


A different dish. Delicious, healthy and very easy. It can be served alone or as an accompaniment to some meat such as e.g. Pork.

So today let's make cabbage with trachana… instead of the classic cabbage rice and let's meet a new taste!


  • 1/2 coarsely chopped cabbage
  • 1 sliced carrot
  • 1 sliced zucchini
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 200 g trachana sweet wheat
  • 1 tomato
  • some oil
  • Salt Pepper


  1. Saute the onion in a saucepan, add the cabbage and after it withers add our vegetables.
  2. Let them sauté lightly, add water and our trachana. Lower the eye and let it simmer until it draws almost all the liquid. Add salt and pepper and stir. We pull it from the eye and let it homogenize the flavors.
