Lenten green pie


Who says enjoying a pie does not go hand in hand with fasting? We have here a wonderful healthy pie full of aromas and taste that smells like Greece !!!


  • 1pack crust
  • Or a kilo of spinach
  • 1 bunch of kaukalithres
  • 1 bunch of myrons
  • 1 bunch of dill
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 200 g of porridge
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 300 gr zohous
  • Pepper, nutmeg
  • olive oil


  1. We wash our herbs thoroughly. We dry them very well so that they do not have water. Coarsely chop them and salt them in a bowl. Mix them and wait for about half an hour for them to wither
  2. In a pan (I used 40 cm) grease with seed oil well and spread the lower leaves 2-2 crosswise on 3 sides to close the circle of the pan. (That is, I used 6 lower leaves)
  3. I oil between the leaves with olive oil.
  4. Put the filling and cover crosswise on top and close our pie with extra sheets
  5. We oil it and carve it
  6. Bake for 45 minutes at 180.
